WE ARE Penn State alumni and friends who live in, are looking to relocate to, or just want to stay connected to the Orange County and Inland Empire areas.
MISSION STATEMENT: Our chapter is committed to supporting the interests of the Pennsylvania State University and its alumni and friends by promoting community service, social activities, student recruitment, and scholarships.
Our chapter was founded on November 11, 1986, as the Penn State Club of Orange County – Inland Empire. Since then, we have won several individual and group awards, starting with our very 1st one in 1988 as the “Most Improved Out of State Club in the Country”. Included below are noteworthy awards received over the years (all clubs are now called chapters):
Volunteer of the Year
Recent Alumnus of the Year
Joint Chapters Award
Membership Award
Community Service Award, and more
Our chapter was the first to reach a $100,000 Endowed Scholarship. We annually award over $10,000 in scholarships to our local students. We are one of the most recognized chapters in the world, reaching Elm status, the highest level, each year.
We’ve had 2 generations of family representing our Board for many years. Our recruitment team attends more college fairs than other chapters. Adjusted to online protocols using e-Mailman and even a virtual Sendoff and Halloween Party.
Thank you to our loyal members and friends who make this all possible.
